Color Theory Assignment Four

Monochromatic

This assignment was actually quite difficult for me because I feel like I am getting more picky! I didn't want to just "fulfill the assignment" I wanted to find something that met the assignment criteria and also told a story and also was something that I was passionate about.

I went out and shot a few times and got tons of photos but I just wasn't in love with any of them. I was frustrated by it, so I set aside more time on a different day after exercising to go shoot again. I found that I shoot the best when I am happy and there is lots of good natural light. I have to keep this in mind for the next assignment.

It turns out that I actually really liked these 3 photos and I'm pleased with the way they turned out.

I really enjoyed this assignment because I was capable of using a tripod and that made a world of difference. I learned that the camera does not always know what the right thing to do is especially when it comes to exposure.
